Karthika Menon Thomas is a counsellor, mother, and community advocate passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their inner strengths. She holds a Master’s in Counselling from the University of Canberra and is a Level 3 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Karthika has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families through her roles as a Family Counsellor, Student Counsellor, and Behaviour Therapist. She has supported neurodiverse clients using trauma-informed and child-inclusive practices, and has also served as a Volunteer Counsellor at Parentline, Canberra.
Her approach is primarily person-centered, integrating mindfulness, CBT, SFBT, Play & Art Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She is certified in Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Integrated Listening System (ILS), supporting neurodiverse individuals with evidence-based audio therapies.
With compassion, patience, and a deep commitment to care, Karthika is dedicated to empowering individuals and families on their journey toward healing and growth.
Kanika Menon holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, English Literature, and Performing Arts. She spent three years as a performing arts teacher, where she fostered creativity and inclusivity in the classroom. Passionate about inclusive teaching, she loves engaging with students and parents to create meaningful learning experiences. Now, as the Admin Head (COO) at ReNyou, she brings her expertise in education and leadership to support holistic learning and personal growth.
